Black is Beautiful

Since old time times, more black women have opted for hairstyles that are "Americanized" and project the societal views of beautiful hair. In modern day times, black women must choose to conform to Western society and their hairstyles or go for the more natural look. Nothing is more evident of this trend than the huge amounts of money spent yearly on black hairstyles at various salons.

Unlike other American cultural trends, black hairstyles represent a significant history and pride amongst black women. Your problem may be that you do not understand the needs of Black hair care and your hair is not in the best condition to copy those hairstyles.

I guess we will have to wait and see if the Jennifer Aniston hairstyle or the Jennifer Lopez hairstyle will be one of the prominent celebrity hairstyles in 2006 or if someone else with a bob style or a curly style makes the headlines. Healthy hair deserves an exceptional hairdo chosen from the many wedding hairstyles, including updos, medium hairstyles, curly hairstyles and even celebrity hairstyles, just make sure to discuss with your stylists the different styles and test those that you would like to wear on your wedding day. Everywhere you looked, you could see celebrities with many different and fashionable hairstyles from short and sweet to long and elegant, from curly or wavy to up-styles.

But this does not mean that taking ten minutes to style your hair isn't going to make your hair style look good, in fact, creating quick, trendy and beautiful hairstyles can be done in a very short space of time. Jennifer Anniston, who has won our hearts as a very talented and beautiful actress, is also well known for her trademark hairstyles. However, since that time, more black women have opted for hairstyles that are "Americanized" and project the societal views of beautiful hair.

What Wedding colour theme should I have?
I am having a mid sept wedding in 2009. I know I want to incorporate pink into my wedding, but I also know that fall is just around the corner and too light will be tacky. So I was thinking of Burgundy Fuschia and white as my pallette. Is this nice? Or should I have baby pink, fuschia and white. What's nicer? Im open to suggestions! thanks!

What 2 other colors go with Brunt/Rustic Orange for a fall wedding?
My best friend is getting married in the fall and we are trying to come up with color themes? We are trying to put a brunt or rustic orange w/a deep purple... What are your thoughts on what 2 other colors will go nicely with the Brunt/Rustic Orange for a fall wedding color theme?

Is this normal for a MOH to request?
For our wedding my fiance and I have decided to go with either an orange or green wedding colour theme as we are getting married in St.Lucia and would like to make it match the tropical theme. I am not set on the colours, but when I mentioned to my MOH that we want to go with orange or yellow for the dresses, she freaked. Apparently orange doesn't make her look good at all. Then when I showed her the dresses that I was thinking of she told me that she's just going to buy her own dress and just make sure it matches somewhat, but that she's thinking more of a white summer dress with orange on it. Is it ok for her to pick out her own dress? Cause really, I have 2 maid of honors and was hoping they would match! Am I wrong for wanting them to match? And the dress that we were looking at them getting is only $23 and the one that she wants is over $200, and we're buying their dresses for them as their gift. She wants to get a really sexy dress, and not that I mind at all, but we wanted to get summer dresses to match our theme. Am I out of line? I should add that my original colours were pink with an orange and pink bouquet, but she REFUSED to wear pink cause apparently that makes her look fat and too girly (exact words). Then I changed to green, but she didn't like the shade of green that I picked. I am not stressed out at all, she's a picky person who's always been catered to, so I expected this, but I am also a pushover and just want to know where I can draw the line! Thanks so much for all your help! p.s. any ideas of a good colour scheme that would go with a tropical theme would be awsome (I am slightly colour blind so some different hues look the same to me)
