Three Tier Wedding Cake?
I am using a 10 inch base cake an 8 inch middle tier and a 6 inch top tier. I am wanting to know what size seperator plates I need to use. I am using the pillars and seperator plates. I think I need 2 10 inch and two 8 inch. Is this correct?

I'm getting married!! cake?
I am totally excited and we plan a soon wedding as early as the middle of May.
Now, I dont mean to down myself.. but it has to kind of be cheap because we are having two weddings. I live in Iowa with him so May will be the wedding in Iowa with his family and sometime after that when we get established will be the wedding in Pennsylvania with my family and friends.
Now the tough part...
I would like a two or three tier wedding cake but not for the cost of an arm and leg seeing as I have to bake on of the cakes myself because I am a celiac and need to make sure the cake is gluten free. However, I obviously can't decorate it myself.
Question is... how much do these cakes run at best and about how much do you think might be knocked off because I am baking one tier myself.
