One of the most popular African American hairstyles is the Afro. It can be simply described as any length of hair that is in its natural state. Like many other African American hairstyles it is an easy, low maintenance style since it can be cared for with a pick or simply with your fingers. There is no need for chemicals, so you won't do any harm to your hair. What an exciting way to begin this article about African American hairstyles, now let's take a look at what else we can learn about that!
Cropped cut is another popular African American hairstyle. It is created by the short hair layers all over the head finger-combed. It is fixed with pomade which also gives the effect of moisture. This African American hairstyle allows for diversity as you can make the layers look a bid different each day. Is it strange that a bride to be doesn't ask fiance's sister to be a bridesmaid?
My brother is getting married in July and his fiancee has already chosen her bridesmaids. I am not one of them. I was in my other brother's wedding in the early 90s but his wife had more bridesmaids and included me. My new future sister-in-law is not having as many -- I think four. At first I was disappointed that I was not asked. But then I was reassured by my mom and friends that it's her wedding and she can choose who she wants. Maybe she preferred close friends. I'm sure if my brother could choose, he would've chosen me but I keep remembering it's her wedding. Well, any thoughts? Has anyone been in this situation where you are not chosen as a bridesmaid and how did you feel -- did you care or not? Now I just think, "oh well, whatever" about not being picked. I probably would look better in a bridesmaid dress if I were skinnier anyway and I was back in '92. The good thing is that as a writer I was asked to write their newspaper wedding announcement. So...your thoughts plz!
