I have done wedding cakes before, but never had to make small individual ones. I have purchased the tins (2" diameter) but don't have a suitable recipe. I imagine the recipe for the cake remains the same, but have no idea about the oven temp or the baking time. I hope someone can help!

Hi! I need an answer by 4:00 Central time b/c that's when I'm going out to get the ingredients, so that's about 40 minutes! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me your best recipe for any kind of dessert/pastry. It doesn't have to be simple, just no odd ingredients (i.e. I won't make cookies with sour cream in them). Pies, cookies, cakes, etc! ANYTHING sweet! If anyone has anything extra elaborate or fancy, that would be wonderful... For example, the other day I made 6 "mini wedding cakes" complete with the trim-work and everything!!!! Okay, thanks so much, byeeee!

How can I warn unsuspected "brides to be" about a wedding cake "scam"?
I wasmarried a year ago+1day today and had a very disappointing 1st anniver. I was told not to say a piece of my wedding cake by the bakery because they would make me a mini wedding cake for my one year anniver. I did just that and when I asked for my anniver. cake,I called 2 weeks before as instructed and was told they don't keep records and what type of cake was it they said ok it will be ready for me the day before my anniver. My husband and I went to pick up the cake and the cake was not even the same color(mine was a white buttercream frosted this was a chocolate) they said there was nothing they could do, we took the cake just to have a cake for our special day. My husband called back and they said we don't make special cakes for the 1st anniver. you got your cake. I thought the whole point was to have your wedding cake on your 1st anniver.
