A wedding toast speech is traditionally given by a number of guests at a wedding.

I worked with this girl 3 years ago and we became great friends. Then we drifted away a bit and only hung out once a month or so. Then she asked me to be the maid of honor in her wedding and wants me to say a speech. I'm kind of a goof ball and I'm always cracking jokes....
can someone give me some tips, advice, lines..anything!!! I'm totally lost.
keep in mind that the ONLY people that I will know there is the the Bride and Groom!!!

Maid of honor wedding speech...Please help me!!?
HI, I am a maid of honor at a wedding tomorrow and I have to make a speech at the wedding. I"M SOOOO NERVOUS so I want to make it short. The girl was a college friend that i lived with and I was there for the proposal. I want to include that in the speech.. They are good friends and amazing people, I just can't get the words right. Please help me if you have any ideas.
Note: Please don;t say what comes to mind cause when I get in front of all those people I will go blank.... :(
