Asian Mail Order Brides

A mail order bride is a woman who signs herself up with a marriage agency who offers her as a spouse to a male foreigner looking for a bride. Many foreigners tend to prefer Asians as wives, and because of the economic status of many Asian countries, there seems to be a constant number of Asian females willing to offer themselves up as mail order brides.

Attractions

Foreigners tend to prefer Asian women because of the generally attractive physique that they possess. Asian mail order brides tend to be very feminine, petite and slender and always display grace. Asians seem to have a natural knack for charm as well as an innate ability to be attentive to their partners. With these characteristics, the physical and emotional needs of the foreign groom are met.

Asian women are generally brought up to be gentle and polite, knowing how to conduct themselves properly with proper manners. They know how to respond to others politely and with great respect. They have the ability to easily adapt to new cultures and, since they are naturally friendly and hospitable, they are able to quickly gain new friends and adjust to their new environment.

Asian countries regard marriage highly and value the institution of family with utmost commitment. If the groom is seriously considering settling down with a mail order bride, then an Asian bride would fit the profile well.

Mutual Attraction

For the marriage to work there needs to be a mutual attraction. Asian women openly agree to such arrangements because of their preconceived understanding of Western men. Many Asian women are treated as secondary citizens. But Western men tend to have a chivalric upbringing, treating females with great respect and as equals.

Since many Asian countries have a lower-performing economy compared to their Western counterparts, many Asian women seek the stability that comes with the marriage.

I tried SO hard to find portraits of chinese groom/white bride but NOTHING!!! help? thx...?
Is there anybody out there that can provide a link for me that has nice portraits of chinese grooms with their white brides (preferable red-head)? In the search title online, I tried "chinese groom with white bride", "chinese groom with caucasian bride", "chinese groom with irish bride", "asian groom with white bride portraits" and so on, with no real luck. I tried SOOO hard to find some online, but the only "luck" I had was a chinese bride with a white groom!!! ARGH!!! I don't need stereotypes!!! thx everybody!!!

Bride to be - funny or not?
On the night before her wedding, an Irish bride-to-be talked with her mum. "Mum," she said, "I want you to teach me how to make my new fella happy." The mother replied gently: "When two people love, honour, and respect each other, love can be a wonderful thing." The daughter interrupted, "I know how to f uck, mum - I want you to teach me how to make great dinners."

Does anyone know the ghost story about the Irish bride that killed herself? ?
So for my storytelling class we have to pick a scary story. And I want to do that story about the Irish bride who's dad was a captain in the army and was really proud of his daughter. She fell in love with one of his soldiers and the dad was happy. At one point she saw some flowers or something that she wanted and she asked him for them. He asked his friend who was on duty to get them for him. His friend agreed but only if the husband would put on his uniform and guard his post while he did. So he agreed and did. The dad came along and (he had fallen asleep) tried to wake him up not knowing it was his son in law. Then he shot him, the daughter found out and killed herself, the dad shot himself. And then it goes on into the ghost of the bride. Does anyone know the rest? Do I have parts messed up? I WOULD LOVE it if someone had a link to the story? Thanks so much top points!
