Informal Wedding Gowns
Bridal Gowns - Counting the Cost
It is every bride-to-be s dream that they will be able to have the choice of all bridal gowns to be able to have the perfect one for their big day. Unfortunately, the reality is that many of the most desirable bridal gowns are too expensive for the average bride to afford. Quite often it is the cheaper bridal gowns that are the most popular but how can you afford to have the bridal gown of your dreams? The answer is simple hire your bridal gown.
Brides used to want to keep their wedding dress as a reminder of their perfect day and maybe even hand it down to their daughter. However, times have changed. Men have been hiring their morning suits for years and now there are more bridal gowns that can be hired too.
The greatest deciding factor when it comes to choosing bridal gowns is always cost. You may not be able to afford to buy that designer wedding dress but you may well find that you can hire it. There is nothing wrong with wearing one of these rented bridal gowns, after all, who is going to know that you did not buy it?
We have become used to celebrities being loaned designer outfits and jewelry for movie premieres and awards ceremonies and not thought twice about it. The same applies to bridal gowns. If you hire one of the designer bridal gowns you will be able to have your fairytale dress for the occasion at a fraction of the price of buying it.
cheap bridal gowns in seattle area?
i'm looking for cheap informal wedding gowns in seattle area... i don't want to pay more than $280. it's not really a wedding... it's my one year anniversary that we're celebrating "wedding reception" style.
i want classy looking designs... no matronly or dowdy looking gowns (like from chadwicks). david's bridal is too much for what i want to pay.
i'm looking for destination style gowns... mermaid silhouette made of soft, willowy material.
help! event is on july 15th!
this is not a wedding reception so i don't want to spend a lot of money for it. if i can get something around $100, that would be awesome.
i'm already looking at bridesmaid gowns at www.houseofbrides.com and so far, they're the best i've seen for the price. however, if i can get cheaper gowns than that, i would definitely prefer that.
if i want to wear jeans, i would. but i don't think it will be appropriate since this event is for my husband's family and friends who weren't able to attend our wedding, hence the wedding reception style.
if anything, i would wear my wedding gown again but it's way too formal for the event. it was pouffy and has a train. this event is downscale and will be in my husband's hometown of honolulu... hence the reason why i'm going for a destination style gown.
another prob: i wear such small sizes... 0-2. it's incredibly hard to find my size... i can try and get into a 3-4 but then i probably would pay more for the alteration... and the dress design might be ruined by having to alter it that much...

What do you think of this dress? (pics)?
So long story short, we are having two ceremonies. One is Friday night in our church and it's very informal and only close family. The next day we are having an outdoor ceremony with all of our guests and with a big reception. I have my big white wedding dress for Saturday but I've been looking for a nice, but not too formal dress to wear to the other ceremony. I came across this one. What do you guys think? I'm don't think I want a white dress, I kind of wanted to save that for the big ceremony.

I am tall and curvy with long brown hair. Do you think it would look good? Do you think I should get a different color? It comes in pretty much any color you can think of.
This is going to be worn indoors at a church in the evening (just in case I confused you)
If I do decide that this is what I want my aunt is going to make it for me. She's a profressional seamstress.
