Frugal Wedding
Wedding Vows: Traditional or Contemporary?
Your wedding vows should be something that are meaningful for the rest of your lives. It is worth spending some time planning which wedding vows are right for you and your mate.
You might want to look for wedding vows and ideas for wedding vows online. Wedding sites have information and suggestions about wedding vows and this information will give you an idea of possibilities.
Many people choose to use traditional wedding vows. You can discuss your wedding vows with the pastor or priest who is going to marry you. There are different wedding vows depending on the faith you practice.
You may choose to write your own wedding vows. This can be especially lovely as long as you know what you are doing. If you plan to write your own wedding vows and will be married in a church or synagogue you will need to make sure this is allowed.
When you have made the decision to write your own wedding vows you should start writing at least two months before the ceremony. This will give you time to rewrite and make modifications.
It is not a good idea to write your own wedding vows if one of the parties really doesn t want to. This is such an important part of the wedding that both the bride and groom should be willing to take part in the writing of the wedding vows.
Before you ever start writing your wedding vows take the time to discuss what you both want to say. Make a list or keep a notebook of the things that you want to include in the wedding vows.
You will also need to decide if you want to have the wedding vows memorized. If you are not comfortable with memorizing the wedding vows it is perfectly all right to read them instead. It would be better to read the wedding vows than have one person go completely blank when the time comes.
Spend some time pondering your wedding vows, what you want to say and how you want to say it.
Most frugal wedding?
I am getting married next month and both my fiance and I would rather be eloping but our church won't allow it. Soo....we've agreed to have a very small backyard wedding. I would've been happy just inviting 4 people but my future MIL (God bless her) decided to announce our secret wedding to my future hubby's rather large family. Now it looks like we'll be having at least 50 people at this backyard (the backyard is gorgeous) ceremony.
Could anyone provide tips on how to make the wedding simple yet pretty while sticking to a strict budget? I'd like it to be elegant just on a small scale. Has anyone had a wedding like this? Thanks in advance!

Frugal wedding ideas?
I'm am fortunate enough to be marrying the most amazing Navy Sailor whom I am so proud of. He's been my best friend for well over two years. We're getting married at city hall while he's home for one week leave in a few months and I need ideas for low-budget wedding ideas. We plan to have an amazing reception in our backyard so yes I have lots of planting to do now. But I need summerish table decoration ideas and what to have period since he's navy and going to wear his dress white's. I want this day to be simple yet beautiful any ideas welcome!
I love all of the ideas so far you guys are so crative! I do guess I need to clarify that we're getting married at the courthouse, then a few days later having the reception! I want it different and not stuffy. I love the idea of sunflowers. I need ideas for sweet and cute table favours. I think we're going to go with putting a disposable camera at each table. Decoration ideas, flower ideas, table ideas, food ideas and recipies, all things I'm looking for and eager to keep reading. From both my fiance' and I thank you for all of your efforts and additional ideas and suggestions! Oh, and we're going to have it around 2 in the afternoon. Since i'm the one whose decorating and crafting and cooking, it just made sense. And what about gift tables, those are still ok with an outside garden like wedding right, and the wishing well. I am definetly going to make that!
