ok so i used to always play around with my camera and pictures when i was in high school. and i have taken ONLY my best friends sr. pics. and a lot of my sister for dancing. but my friend called me today telling me that her sister wants me to take her engegement pictures. im so scared. i have never taking pics like that before and it will be in the news paper and pics they will look back at forever. and she wants to pay me but im so scared they wont come out how she wanted them... this is so much preasure. does anyone know of any good wedding photography sites that i can go to to get ideas. or can send me and ideas you might have. i would really appreciate it.

Engagement photography by amateur photographer?
I was having photos done by a girl that I've known (but lost touch with) for about 12 years. She is a second year student studying photography. She initially said that she is setting up her portfolio so she would take the pictures and give me the disk and I'll we'd have to pay for would be prints. Now she is saying her sitting fee is $30/ hour and a half and then we still pay for prints (and she never mentioned giving me the disk). So, my question is: How much should a 2nd year photography student charge for her services when taking engagement pictures? I asked about the disc that she said she'd give me and she said that she'd sell it to me for $2/ picture with a minumum purchase of 50 pictures! That's at least $100 just for the disc. Is that ridiculous? I guess I just can't get over the fact that she is only half done with college (which means she's done mostly required classes and very few photography classes) and she is charging so much! I think I'm telling her that we are just going to do it ourselves....
