Another thing to keep in mind when looking for wedding dresses is the possibility of having a dress made for you. If you happen to be lucky enough to know a seamstress you will be able to have a one-of-a-kind wedding dress created just for you. Benefits with custom made wedding dresses include your ability to design the dress and choose the fabric and trim that you love. These wedding dresses may be more or less expensive than a dress you purchase from a bridal boutique.
If you are really on a tight budget you can look for a dresses in consignment shops. Some of these wedding dresses are beautiful and have never been worn. You may need alterations on these wedding dresses but the cost should still be quite a bit less than an off-the-rack dress.
One other option is to rent a wedding dress. This can be a relatively inexpensive way to obtain a wedding dress but you should make sure the wedding dresses are in very good condition and are cleaned after each use.
There are many options when it comes to choosing wedding dresses. Consider each option carefully before making a final decision.
How much should I sell these rings for on eBay?
I have a wedding and engagement ring set that I'd like to sell on eBay to get the most for it.
The rings are custom-built by J.B. Robinson Company. (My ex knew I'd never go for something common.)
Here are some stats:
~ natural sapphire on engagement ring
~ 2 natural ceylon sapphires on engagement ring
~ platinum bands with intricate engraved design
~ wedding ring is just the band, of course
~ wedding ring is cut out to allow engagement ring to fit with it.
~ original price was somewhere around $4,500

Custom designed wedding rings for less than an arm and a leg?
Hey yA crew...you see the question, you know the drill.
I want to get a pretty ring for my girl...and I've seen some really nice designs on custom sites and such. But...they cost like 5 grand, 10 grand, 100 grand (?!) And so I was wondering if I could find some place that does decent (and pretty) rings at a fraction of that cost...I love my girl with all my heart...but I'm a broke collegiate...I don't have ANY grands to shell out on a ring. I'm kinda lookin' for something with rubies and emeralds, if that's possible... (I know, I have expensive tastes... :-P)
