Christmas Wedding
Christmas Wedding Favors
Christmas is a beautiful time to get married, with snow falling and bells ringing during your ceremony. If you have always dreamed of getting married around Christmas time, more than likely you have your decorations already planned out and visions of what your wedding reception hall will look like decorated with a Christmas tree, lights, and mistletoe. However, you may not have given much thought to your wedding favors. Having your wedding during the Christmas season gives you a variety of excellent wedding favor choices that will help get all of your guests in the Christmas spirit for your nuptials.
Beautiful Christmas Ornaments
One great type of wedding favors would be Christmas ornaments. If you have the money you may want to buy some beautiful old-fashioned ornaments to present your wedding guests. If your budget is a bit tight, you may even want to try making the ornaments on your own. After you have the ornaments, tie them up in festively colored tulle and tie with a bright ribbon to make the Christmas favors complete.
Warm and Tasty
Another great type of Christmas Wedding favors to give out at your wedding reception are hot chocolate packages. Most people enjoy having a warm and tasty drink when it is cold and snowy outside, so you can use hot chocolate as a wonderful wedding favor. You may want to include personalized mugs with the hot chocolate, or you may just want to put name tags on the hot chocolate packets and then tie a candy cane to the packet with red or green ribbon.
Decorated Cinnamon Sticks
For Christmas Wedding favors that look and smell great, you may want to use cinnamon sticks. You can decorate them up with some holly and ribbon. They will be a beautiful compliment to your place settings that your guests can take home. The smell from the cinnamon sticks will also set a festive mood throughout your wedding reception hall as well.
Some other great choices for Christmas themed wedding favors include wreaths, poinsettias, Christmas coasters, or even snowflake ornaments. Having a wedding at Christmas time can be a great deal of fun, so why not make your wedding a holly jolly blast with unique and festive wedding favors.

Wedding cupcakes? Need some help please =D?
I have kind of decided to skip out on traditional wedding cake for my wedding. I think tradtional cakes are really pretty, but just not for us.
My finace and i are not huge cake eaters, and disagree on flavor, but we love cupcakes. We have come up with the idea to have what is called gormet cupcakes. In these little cakes, we can have many more flavors than we would if we had a whole cake, including flavors like banana split, and it comes with all the fixing. Plus it is cheaper than a whole cake, not just in the cake itself, but cutting and serving ect. And more kid friendly, as well as diabetic friendly because it is hard to make a whole cake, or even a layer suger free.
At our semi formal modern christmas wedding, we really want to do some things different and love this idea.
However, the real question i want to know, is how would you feel if you saw cupcakes on tiers, like a wedding cake. Would you miss the whole cakey, cutting experiance and be dispointed? Or would you appreciate a desert that has all the elements of a wedding cake, but be in cupcake form? Have you been to a wedding where someone did this and what was the general reaction to it?
p.s. we have about 175 guests, so we are looking ot have about 5 different kinds of cupcakes, and the kind of cake, fillings, and toppings choices are endless!!
