Catholic wedding invitation wording?
I am wording our invitations and was wondering---is a Catholic wedding ceremony still considered a 'nuptial mass' if communion is not included? We are having everything else---readings, homily, flowers to Mary, and of course the Rite of marriage----just not communion, because my fiance is not Catholic yet, and his family and most of our guests are Protestant or non-religious, so they wouldn't be receiving Eucharist. So it's still a mass, just not a 'full' mass.... Would it be incorrect to refer to it as a 'nuptial mass' since communion is not involved? Thanks for any advice, I just want to word it properly.
