Do my damask patterns need to be exactly the same 4 my wedding reception?
I am having a black and white wedding with red accenting. now i found black and white damask that i love. here is my question do all the damask patterns have to be exact? i mean they r close but must they match?
first i was just doing white and black with red accents. then while looking for red and white invites i found these:
Then i happened aponn this for my cake i am thinking of 2 of the 5 layers have this the rest be plain white:
you should know my wedding is being done on the cheap. i am making my own cake and food, we r using disposable dishes, nylon tablecloths, etc. i am not having a dj, florist or photographer. all that is being handled by family and friends, so this is not a strict formal wedding, but i'd still like it to look nice. now comes the issue of centerpieces. now i know this idea sounds weird, but we saw acutee idea to take some nice tall soup cans(like the family size) wrap them in a fabric and fill with red flowers. put down the blacktable-coverr a light scattering of rose petals a coupletea-lightt candles around with that in the middle. the problem is idon'tt see an exact fabric. to use for this project and the centerpieces tend to be a bit of a focal point! will it make a difference? anyone know of anywhere to get this at a reasonable rate? only need like a yard or two. can it be the same pattern in reverse?(white on black instead of black on white) PLEASE HELP. i've been really good the whole time not obsessing about little details that don't matter but i dunno. will this matter? will anyone notice?
oh yeah here is our guest book too!:
