A wedding toast speech is traditionally given by a number of guests at a wedding.
It is traditional for the groom to make a wedding toast speech in which he thanks everyone for attending the wedding celebration and it is this speech which represents his first opportunity to speak on behalf of his new wife.

I'm the son of the groom and he's asked me to be his best man. I'm young and have been to no weddings, so i dont know what to do. Can someone write one for me/help me write one????

Is my best man speech ok?
Does this sound ok for a best man speech? Wedding is this week. Both he and her are principals. Any help, suggestions are greatly apprciated. Here is the speech:
"first of all, thank you to all of you that made it here today. I am glad to be here and honored to be the best man for this occasion.
for those of you that don't know me, I am George's older brother. Although he is smart, having grown up with him it was quite a surprise that he chose the education field as a career. Now this is a true story that may even be news to his bride. When we were kids it was a daily comical occurrance for him to "act" sick in order to avoid going to school. 'Every morning I would hear him say "mom, i don't feel good," but miraculously when he got home from school he felt better.
Well as the years passed he did got to school and now has the perfect bride. not only is she attractive and smart, it is ironic that she is a principal, which is EXACTLY what he needs. So Linda (bride), don't get upset if he forgets anything, .he can just blame it on the school days he blew off, And always know, it is nothing that a little home schooling can't correct. "
